Our CD is here...

Wow! What a project.  Jim and I can't believe it.  What started out simply as our sons participating in a song writing workshop with Dave Nachmanoff has now turned into a full fledged CD.  the family-related songs on this CD were written by our boys... children, formerly orphans and once considered "unadoptable".  The boys worked hard on their songs and shared a lot about themselves along the way.  Putting this CD together has been both exciting and cathartic for the whole family.  We are very proud of their hard work.

April 21, 2005 - Our CD, "In The Family" is finding its way all over the world! We have had requests for copies of the CD from England, Serbia, Belgium, Mexico and Russia. Can you believe that actresses Shani Wallis and Tyne Daly,as well as musicians Dean Torrence (Jan and Dean fame!), Jonathan Richman, and Neil Young all own copies! The boys are already starting to write songs, with the help of folk singer, Dave Nachmanoff, for our second CD. This time several of the boys will sing and play instruments on many of the songs.

October 28, 2006 - Jeffrey autographed several copies of the "In the Family" CD and personally handed them to Disney Channel actors Cole and Dylan Sprouse ("The Suite Life of Zach and Cody"), Kyle Massey ("That's So Raven" and "Cory in the House"), and Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana). They each thanked Jeffrey and Miley even gave Jeffrey a kiss on his cheek!

November 1, 2006 -The Silcock Family is putting out a second CD tentatively called "Team Silcock." At this time the songs have been written and recorded. Some of the songs even included singing by some of the boys. A few small editing details are left and then the CD will go into production. We will keep you posted.
